Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) Communications Intern to join our innovative engineering team in Wolverhampton. This is an unparalleled opportunity for an aspiring student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge automotive communication technologies. You will support our V2X development projects, contributing to the research, testing, and implementation of systems that enable vehicles to communicate with their environment, infrastructure, and other vehicles. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the research and analysis of V2X communication standards and protocols (e.g., DSRC, C-V2X).
- Support the setup and maintenance of V2X testbeds and simulation environments.
- Participate in data collection, analysis, and reporting for V2X system performance.
- Contribute to the development and testing of V2X application software components.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on problem-solving and system optimization.
- Document technical processes, findings, and project progress.
- Learn and apply best practices in automotive software development and testing.
Required Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of wireless communication principles.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Enthusiasm for automotive technology and connected vehicles.
