Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our dynamic team in a charming rural setting near Salisbury. This is a unique opportunity for a GP who is passionate about rural medicine and community health. You will provide a full range of primary care services to our diverse patient population, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team including nurses, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary medical care to patients of all ages, including consultations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.

- Conduct preventative health screenings and promote health education.
- Prescribe medication and treatments in accordance with best practice guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using our electronic health record system.

- Participate in practice meetings, clinical governance, and continuous professional development activities.
- Undertake home visits when clinically necessary.

Required Skills
- Full GMC registration and a license to practice in the UK.
- Inclusion on the GP Register (or eligible for inclusion).
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using electronic patient record systems.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a rural or remote general practice setting.
- Additional postgraduate qualifications relevant to general practice.
- Familiarity with local NHS services and referral pathways in Wiltshire.
- Driving license and access to a vehicle (for home visits).
