Job Description
Join Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a Vehicle Relocation Driver! This exciting role involves driving vehicles safely and efficiently between our various branch locations, service centers, and customer sites. You will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring that our fleet is available where and when it’s needed most. This position requires a responsible individual with excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety. All necessary travel expenses incurred during vehicle relocation will be covered.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually drive a variety of vehicles to and from specified locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any damage or maintenance needs.
- Ensure all vehicle documentation and keys are accurately transferred with the vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff or clients.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned routes efficiently.
- Assist with other branch duties as needed, such as vehicle cleaning or minor staging.
Required Skills
- Valid UK Driving License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently and perform basic vehicle checks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a driving or logistics role.
- Familiarity with the Chester and surrounding Cheshire area.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics or maintenance.
- Customer service experience.
