Job Description
Connect Vending is seeking a motivated and reliable Vending Machine Snack Restocker to manage an independent route in and around the Dundee area. This is a crucial role ensuring our vending machines are always stocked with a wide variety of popular snacks and drinks, providing excellent service to our clients. A company van is provided, allowing you the freedom to manage your route efficiently. This position requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently to meet daily targets and maintain high standards of service. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company-provided van to service a designated route of vending machines.
- Accurately restock vending machines with snacks, drinks, and other products.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock on the van and in machines.
- Collect cash and other payments from machines, ensuring accurate reconciliation.
- Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of vending machines.
- Report any machine malfunctions or service issues to the relevant department.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professional conduct at client locations.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25kg (e.g., cases of drinks).
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily route.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a route-based service role.
- Familiarity with inventory management.
- Knowledge of basic machine maintenance.
