Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Undergo and successfully complete all required training modules related to vehicle inspection, weight verification, and transport regulations.
- Assist in the operation of weigh station facilities, including directing commercial vehicles for inspection.
- Learn to accurately measure and record vehicle weights using calibrated equipment.
- Develop an understanding of and apply relevant road transport laws and regulations.
- Inspect commercial vehicles for compliance with safety standards, licensing, and load security.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with vehicle operators and the public.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and enforcement actions.
- Report any non-compliance issues or potential safety hazards to senior inspectors.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures at weigh station locations.
