Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Venue Manager to oversee operations at one of our premium high-end hospitality venues in Geraldton. This pivotal role requires a leader with a passion for excellence, an unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction, and a proven track record in managing sophisticated dining and event spaces. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, upholding our high standards of service, and driving financial performance while maintaining a positive and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of daily venue operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and administrative functions.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team, fostering a culture of exceptional service and continuous improvement.
  • Manage inventory, procurement, and cost control to achieve budgetary targets and maintain profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experience and satisfaction.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote the venue and attract new business.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
  • Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the venue to ensure a pristine and inviting atmosphere.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in hospitality management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within a high-end or premium venue.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent team management and motivational skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, P&L management, and cost control.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations.
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software and POS systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced certification in Food Safety and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
  • Experience with event planning and management within a hospitality setting.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and enhance profitability.
