Job Description
Are you looking to kick-start your career in international trade and logistics? DHL Express is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as a Virtual Customs & Trade Assistant. This is a fully remote, entry-level position where no prior experience in customs or trade is required. We provide comprehensive training to equip you with all the necessary skills to succeed. You will play a crucial role in supporting our customs operations, ensuring smooth and compliant international shipments for our diverse client base. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn about global trade regulations, documentation, and the intricacies of international supply chains.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and processing of customs documentation for international shipments.
- Perform accurate data entry related to import and export declarations.
- Communicate with internal teams and external clients to resolve documentation discrepancies or queries.
- Monitor the status of customs clearances and ensure timely updates.
- Learn and apply customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements under guidance.
- Maintain organized records of all customs-related activities and correspondence.
