Job Description
Are you detail-oriented with a keen eye for user experience? Ipsos is seeking Virtual Mystery Shoppers to evaluate websites and e-commerce platforms. This is a flexible, remote contract role where you will browse, interact with, and provide structured feedback on various online retail and service experiences from the comfort of your home. Your insights will help businesses improve their online presence, user journeys, and customer satisfaction. Full training and guidelines will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Navigate assigned websites and e-commerce platforms thoroughly.
- Perform specific tasks such as account creation, product browsing, adding items to cart, or simulating a purchase (without completing actual transactions).
- Evaluate website design, ease of navigation, accuracy of information, and overall user experience.
- Identify and report any glitches, broken links, or inconsistencies.
- Provide detailed, objective, and constructive feedback using a structured reporting template.
- Adhere to all project guidelines and deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality of all research findings and client information.
Required Skills
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
- Reliable internet connection and a personal computer/laptop.
- Proficiency in basic computer usage and web browsing.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- No prior experience required; full training provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with online shopping or e-commerce platforms.
- Familiarity with various web browsers and operating systems.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, data entry, or customer service roles.
