Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Virtual Product Photographer to join our remote creative team. In this unique role, you will be responsible for receiving products directly at your home, setting up a suitable shooting environment, and capturing high-quality product images for our e-commerce platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for photography and an eye for detail who thrives in a flexible, home-based work setting. Full training and guidance on product photography standards will be provided, making this an ideal entry-level role for aspiring photographers.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and manage product shipments at your home studio location.
- Set up an appropriate photography environment to achieve consistent lighting and backgrounds.
- Photograph a variety of products according to company guidelines and specifications.
- Perform basic post-production editing, including cropping, color correction, and background cleanup.
- Upload and organize final images to our digital asset management system.
- Communicate effectively with the creative team regarding project progress and deadlines.
- Maintain and care for company-provided equipment, if applicable.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for photography and visual aesthetics.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for product presentation.
- Basic understanding of photography principles (lighting, composition).
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable internet connection and suitable home workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with basic photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
- Familiarity with e-commerce product photography best practices.
- Ownership of a DSLR or mirrorless camera with basic studio lighting equipment.
- Previous experience in a remote work environment.
