Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and service-oriented Waitress to join our dynamic team in Glasgow’s vibrant West End. As a Waitress at Di Maggio’s, you will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages efficiently, and ensuring our guests have an enjoyable and memorable dining experience. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident in all aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat customers upon arrival.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders using our POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with a positive attitude.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
