Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team in Victoria, BC. This is an immediate start position, and no prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training! As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring products are received, stored, and dispatched correctly. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against invoices or other records.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if needed) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking English).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a physical labor role (not required for warehouse, but beneficial).
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (training provided).
