Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Wealth Manager to join our team in Warrington. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients, providing expert financial advice, and developing tailored investment strategies. You will play a crucial part in helping our clients achieve their financial goals through comprehensive wealth planning, investment management, and estate planning services. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility while maintaining a strong presence in our Warrington office to best serve our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
- Conduct thorough financial needs analysis to understand client objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizons.
- Design and implement personalized wealth management strategies, including investment portfolios, retirement planning, and estate planning.
- Provide expert advice on a wide range of financial products and services offered by Barclays.
- Monitor client portfolios regularly, making adjustments as needed based on market conditions and client goals.
- Proactively identify and cultivate new client opportunities through referrals and networking.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal Barclays policies.
- Collaborate with internal specialists (e.g., tax advisors, legal experts) to deliver holistic solutions to clients.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or a related client-facing role.
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and wealth planning principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client trust and relationships.
- Proficiency in financial planning software and CRM systems.
- Relevant financial services qualifications (e.g., Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or equivalent advanced certifications.
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals.
- Existing network of potential clients in the Cheshire area.
