Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Part-time Wholesale Warehouse Hand to join our Renmark team. This role is crucial for the efficient movement and storage of goods within our distribution network, ensuring products are ready for dispatch to our various retail outlets. You will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities on a day roster. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and capable in all aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory safely and efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to dispatch schedules.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks (manual or electric) after appropriate training.
- Perform general warehouse duties including cleaning, organizing, and stock-taking.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management and quality control processes.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels and count stock.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (beneficial but not essential).
- Current forklift license (advantageous but not required, training may be provided).
