Job Description
Are you looking to kickstart your career in healthcare administration? We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our Radiology Department as an Entry Level X-Ray / Radiology File Clerk. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with no prior experience in the field, as full training will be provided. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficient flow of patient records, ensuring that all X-ray and radiology files are accurately organised, retrieved, and stored. Your contribution will directly support the clinical team, enabling timely patient care and accurate diagnoses. Key Responsibilities
- Organise and file X-ray images, reports, and other radiology documents accurately and efficiently.
- Retrieve patient files upon request for clinical staff, ensuring prompt delivery.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all patient information and records.
- Assist with scanning and digitizing older records into the electronic patient system.
- Manage the sign-in and sign-out process for physical files.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or missing files to a supervisor.
- Perform general administrative duties such as photocopying, faxing, and data entry as required.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
