Job Description
We are seeking a charismatic and dedicated Boutique Cigar Lounge Host / Retailer to join our evening team. This role is crucial in creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests while expertly guiding them through our premium cigar and retail offerings. You will be the face of our lounge during prime evening hours, responsible for providing impeccable customer service, managing sales, and ensuring the lounge maintains its pristine condition. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival, ensuring a pleasant first impression.
- Assist guests in selecting cigars, accessories, and other retail items, offering knowledgeable recommendations.
- Process sales accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash/credit transactions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lounge, retail display areas, and humidor.
- Restock retail shelves and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Educate guests on cigar types, brands, and proper cutting/lighting techniques.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and local regulations regarding tobacco sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth lounge operations and an exceptional guest experience.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic computer proficiency for POS system operation
- Ability to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
