Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Online Grant Writing Assistant to join our dynamic fundraising team. This is an entry-level opportunity for an individual passionate about making a difference in the non-profit sector. As an Online Grant Writing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our fundraising efforts by assisting in the research, development, and submission of grant proposals. You will work remotely, collaborating with various teams to identify funding opportunities and craft compelling narratives that highlight our impact. Full training in grant writing processes, research tools, and our organizational mission will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone eager to learn and grow within a humanitarian organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
- Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and other fundraising materials.
- Gather and organize supporting documentation, including project budgets, statistics, and organizational information.
- Maintain accurate records of grant applications, submissions, and outcomes in our database.
- Collaborate with program managers and other team members to understand project needs and gather necessary information for proposals.
- Ensure all grant applications adhere to funder guidelines and submission deadlines.
- Contribute to the development of compelling stories and case studies that demonstrate the impact of our work.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance grant writing skills.
