Job Description

Are you a university student looking for meaningful, flexible part-time work that fits around your studies? Blue Lake Community Services is seeking enthusiastic and reliable After School Care Assistants to join our vibrant team in Mount Gambier. This role is perfect for those new to the childcare sector, as full training will be provided. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and engage children in a range of age-appropriate recreational and educational activities.
  • Assist children with homework and provide a quiet space for study.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
  • Help prepare and serve healthy snacks.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members.

  • Understanding of child development principles.
