Job Description
Join the dynamic team at Repco’s large automotive warehouse on the Gold Coast as a Spare Parts Runner. This entry-level role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our operations. You will be responsible for the swift and accurate retrieval of parts, supporting our warehouse and workshop teams, and ensuring that all components are delivered where and when they are needed. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently retrieve automotive spare parts and components from designated warehouse locations.
- Deliver parts to various departments within the warehouse or to external workshop areas promptly.
- Assist with the receiving, sorting, and stocking of incoming inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts storage areas and common warehouse spaces.
- Support inventory control by assisting with counts and identifying discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and according to company guidelines (training provided).
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 20kg) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in matching part numbers.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (even short-term or informal).
- Interest in automotive parts or the automotive industry.
- Valid Australian Driver's License.
