Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and engaging individual to bring our beloved mascot to life! As our Sports Mascot Performer, you will be the face of our organization at various events, igniting crowd excitement, interacting with fans, and representing our brand with spirit and charisma. This part-time role requires a person who is physically fit, creative, and loves to entertain.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform as the official mascot at all scheduled home games, community events, and promotional appearances.
- Engage with fans of all ages, including high-fives, photo opportunities, and playful interactions.
- Create a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere during events to enhance the fan experience.
- Participate in promotional activities, including giveaways and fan contests.
- Adhere to specific character guidelines and maintain the mascot's persona at all times.
- Assist with the care and maintenance of the mascot costume.
- Work collaboratively with event staff and marketing teams to execute event day plans.
Required Skills
- Exceptional energy and enthusiasm.
- Ability to communicate and interact non-verbally with large crowds.
- Physical fitness, including the ability to stand, walk, dance, and perform in a costume for extended periods.
- Creativity and improvisation skills to react to various situations.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Comfortable working in diverse environments and interacting with the public.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a mascot or in a performance-oriented role.
- Background in theatre, dance, cheerleading, or sports.
- Strong understanding of fan engagement and entertainment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
