Job Description
Join the dedicated night shift team at Tip Top Bakeries as a Bread Delivery Helper. This vital role supports our drivers in ensuring that fresh bread and bakery products are delivered efficiently and on time to various retail outlets and businesses across the Central Coast. You will be responsible for assisting with loading and unloading deliveries, navigating routes, and maintaining the cleanliness of our vehicles. Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of bakery products onto and off delivery vehicles.
- Navigate routes effectively with drivers, ensuring timely deliveries to all scheduled locations.
- Verify product counts against delivery manifests to ensure accuracy.
- Help maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of delivery vehicles.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Support inventory rotation and product handling as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to work night shifts consistently.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 20kg).
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or delivery support role (even if minimal).
- Current Australian Driver's License (Car or higher) is a plus.
