Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Rockville, MD. This is a unique opportunity for qualified candidates requiring visa sponsorship to contribute to our mission of providing exceptional mental health care. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and consultation, to a diverse patient population within an integrated healthcare system. You will work collaboratively with physicians, psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care. This position requires a commitment to evidence-based practices and continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT).
- Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy to adults and adolescents.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists within the integrated health system.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and interdepartmental consultations.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
- Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to ethical guidelines of the profession.
Required Skills
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship.
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Maryland, or eligibility for licensure.
- Demonstrated experience in providing evidence-based psychotherapy to diverse populations.
- Strong diagnostic assessment skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with integrated behavioral health models.
- Board Certification in Clinical Psychology.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, French, Korean) is a plus.
- Experience supervising pre-doctoral interns or post-doctoral fellows.
- Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
