Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Loaders to join our distribution centre team in Greenway. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient movement and loading of goods, contributing to the smooth operation of our supply chain. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible day shifts and a chance to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced logistics environment. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload goods from vehicles and containers.
- Verify product quantities and ensure accuracy against manifests or delivery notes.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage during loading and unloading.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely (training provided).
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform manual labour and lift heavy items (up to 20kg).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety procedures and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (not essential, but an advantage).
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations.
- Current driver's license.
