Job Description
Are you passionate about events and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic industry? Tasmanian Premier Events is offering an exciting internship opportunity for an Event Coordination Intern. This entry-level role is perfect for enthusiastic individuals with no prior experience who are looking to kickstart their career in event management. You will work closely with our experienced team, learning all facets of event planning and execution for major festivals and corporate events. Full training and mentorship will be provided, allowing you to develop valuable skills and contribute to impactful projects from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist event managers with various planning and logistical tasks.
- Support the coordination of event timelines, schedules, and vendor communications.
- Help with on-site event setup, registration, and breakdown.
- Conduct research for potential venues, suppliers, and entertainment options.
- Prepare event materials, including presentations, attendee badges, and promotional items.
- Manage event documentation, including contracts, permits, and budgets.
- Provide administrative support to the event team as needed.
- Participate in post-event evaluations and reporting.
