Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry Level Local Council Invoice Processor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their administrative career and gain valuable experience in a professional office environment supporting local government functions. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, contributing to the financial health and operational smooth run of our local council partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and verify invoices and payment requests.
- Accurately enter invoice data into the accounting system.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies or gather missing information.
- Assist with the preparation of payment batches.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support department operations.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
