Job Description
Join the Woolworths team in Tweed Heads as a Retail Stockist! This casual role is perfect for individuals looking for flexible day shifts, including essential weekend work. As a Stockist, you will be responsible for ensuring our shelves are well-stocked, organised, and visually appealing, directly contributing to our customers’ positive shopping experience. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload, unpack, and organise new stock deliveries.
- Replenish shelves, displays, and chillers with products according to planograms and store standards.
- Rotate stock to ensure freshest products are always available to customers and minimise waste.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in the backroom and on the sales floor.
- Assist with stocktake procedures and inventory management.
- Ensure aisles are clear and safe for customer navigation.
- Provide basic assistance to customers when required, directing them to products or team members.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work casual day shifts, including weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment (but not essential, full training provided).
- Understanding of basic inventory principles.
- Forklift license (not required for all roles, but a bonus for some backroom duties).
