Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Honey Harvesters for the upcoming seasonal period. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who enjoy working outdoors, have a keen eye for detail, and are eager to learn about beekeeping and honey production. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. You will play a vital role in carefully collecting and processing honey, ensuring the highest standards of quality and bee welfare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the safe and careful collection of honey frames from beehives.
  • Operate honey extraction equipment under supervision.
  • Clean and prepare beehive components for future use.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment in the apiary and processing areas.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines and beekeeping protocols.
  • Support the wider apiary team with various seasonal tasks as needed.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to follow instructions meticulously.
  • Comfortable working around bees (with appropriate protective gear).
  • Physical stamina for lifting and manual tasks.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in agriculture or outdoor manual labour (not essential).
  • Knowledge of basic beekeeping principles (training provided).
  • Valid UK driving license and access to reliable transport.
