Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organised NDIS Admin Support professional to join our team in Port Macquarie. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth administrative operation of our NDIS services, providing essential support to our participants, support workers, and management team. You will be instrumental in managing participant data, coordinating appointments, and ensuring compliance with NDIS guidelines. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate NDIS participant records and documentation.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of NDIS funding requests and reports.
  • Coordinate participant appointments, support worker schedules, and service bookings.
  • Process invoices, expense claims, and other financial documentation.
  • Respond to inquiries from participants, families, and support staff in a professional manner.
  • Ensure strict adherence to NDIS guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support to the management team as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold privacy standards for all participant information.
  • Assist in onboarding new participants by preparing necessary paperwork and information packs.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or community services setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Demonstrated understanding of or willingness to learn about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
  • Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working within the NDIS framework.
  • Experience with client management software or databases.
  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Community Services, or a related field.
