Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Dietary Supplement Manufacturing Operative to join our production team in a controlled clean room environment. This pivotal role involves the hands-on operation of manufacturing equipment, precise handling of raw materials, and strict adherence to all clean room protocols to ensure the purity and quality of our dietary supplements. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, able to follow complex instructions, and committed to maintaining a sterile and organized workspace. Full training on equipment and clean room procedures will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment, including blenders, encapsulators, and packaging machines, in a clean room setting.
- Perform meticulous cleaning and sanitization of equipment and work areas according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials following batch records and formulation guidelines.
- Conduct in-process quality checks and document findings meticulously.
- Monitor production processes for deviations and report any issues to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety regulations, and clean room protocols.
- Maintain accurate production records, batch logs, and inventory documentation.
- Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading materials from production lines.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets and maintain a high standard of quality.
Required Skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in executing tasks.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina for standing, lifting (up to 20 kg), and repetitive tasks.
- Commitment to following strict hygiene and safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (not necessarily clean room).
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) concepts.
- Ability to operate basic machinery.
- Comfortable working in a controlled environment with specific gowning requirements.
