Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented WFH Blog Manager – Formatting & Posting Assistant to join our remote content team. This role is crucial for ensuring our blog content is consistently well-formatted, published on schedule, and aligned with our brand guidelines. You will be responsible for the technical aspects of blog publishing, working closely with content creators and marketing teams to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow. This is a 100% remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Format and prepare blog posts for publication using our Content Management System (CMS), ensuring adherence to style guides and SEO best practices.
- Schedule and publish blog posts according to the editorial calendar.
- Perform basic proofreading and quality checks on all outgoing content.
- Manage and update the content calendar, tracking post statuses and deadlines.
- Upload and optimize images, videos, and other multimedia elements for blog posts.
- Assist with basic HTML adjustments as needed for optimal display across devices.
- Monitor published content for errors or broken links and make necessary corrections.
- Collaborate with content creators, editors, and marketing specialists to ensure a seamless content pipeline.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot, Adobe Experience Manager).
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for web content formatting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written communication and proofreading abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with digital content best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a content production, marketing assistant, or administrative role.
- Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to blog content.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira).
- Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with image editing software.
