Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Theme Park Operations Manager to lead the daily operational functions of our enchanting park located in Davenport, FL. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of park operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, guest experience, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for entertainment, capable of managing large teams and complex logistical challenges in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of operations supervisors and frontline staff, fostering a culture of excellence and guest-focused service.
- Oversee the daily opening, closing, and operational procedures of all park attractions, facilities, and guest service areas.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, regulations, and emergency procedures to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Monitor operational performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategic solutions to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Manage operational budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation to achieve financial targets.
- Collaborate with maintenance, security, food and beverage, and retail departments to ensure seamless park operations.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure positive experiences.
- Develop and implement training programs for operational staff to uphold service standards and operational procedures.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events, seasonal operations, and new attraction launches.
Required Skills
- Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate large teams.
- Strong operational management expertise, preferably within a high-volume public attraction or hospitality setting.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with guests, staff, and senior management.
- Thorough understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures relevant to theme park operations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by park operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in theme park operations, resort management, or large-scale entertainment venues.
- Certifications in safety management or first aid.
- Proficiency in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese).
