Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and meticulous individuals to join our team as Pecan / Nut Shelling Operatives in a comfortable sit-down role. This entry-level position is perfect for those who possess good manual dexterity and an eye for detail. As an integral part of our production line, you will be responsible for carefully inspecting and processing nuts to meet our high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform visual inspection of nuts for quality, size, and defects.
  • Carefully remove shell fragments and other foreign materials from shelled nuts.
  • Operate shelling equipment and tools as instructed, ensuring safe and efficient use.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Sort and grade nuts according to specified criteria.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors.
