Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Management Intern to join our dynamic Supply Chain & Logistics team in Cork. This entry-level internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced global technology company. You will support various aspects of our supply chain operations, learning about demand planning, inventory management, logistics coordination, and operational efficiency improvements. No prior experience is required; we are looking for eager learners who are passionate about operations and supply chain management. Full training and mentorship will be provided to help you develop foundational skills and kickstart your career.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in data collection and analysis to support supply chain optimization projects.
- Support inventory management activities, including tracking stock levels and coordinating replenishment.
- Help monitor logistics processes, ensuring timely delivery and identifying potential bottlenecks.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings to understand end-to-end operational workflows.
- Contribute to developing and implementing process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Prepare reports and presentations on supply chain performance metrics.
- Shadow team members to learn about demand forecasting, supplier relations, and distribution strategies.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proactive and eager to learn new concepts and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with basic supply chain principles (gained through coursework or personal interest).
- Experience with data visualization tools or basic database knowledge.
