Job Description

Join the vibrant team at Adventure Land Play Centres as a Casual Play Centre Attendant! This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic individuals who love working with children and contributing to a positive, energetic atmosphere. We are looking for reliable and friendly team members to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our young guests on weekends. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience in a similar role is necessary – just a great attitude and a willingness to learn!

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise children in various play areas to ensure their safety and adherence to play centre rules.
  • Assist with the setup and pack down of party rooms and special events.
  • Engage with children and parents in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of play equipment, seating areas, and facilities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points and assist with guest check-in/check-out procedures.
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
  • Provide basic first aid assistance if required (training provided).

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, energetic, and child-friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability and punctuality for weekend shifts.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Ability to obtain/hold a current Working With Children Check (or equivalent, e.g., Blue Card in QLD).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service role (even if not with children).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (will be provided or can be obtained on the job).
