Job Description

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Customs Brokerage Intern to join our dynamic team in Hammersmith. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity designed for individuals with no prior experience in customs brokerage. We will provide comprehensive training and mentorship to help you understand the intricate world of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and freight forwarding operations. You will gain hands-on experience supporting our customs team, ensuring smooth and compliant movement of goods across borders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the customs brokerage team with administrative tasks, including data entry and document management.
- Learn about customs regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements for various types of goods.
- Support the preparation and submission of customs declarations and related documentation.
- Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders under supervision to gather necessary information.
- Maintain accurate records and databases related to customs entries and client information.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge of international trade and customs processes.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
