Job Description

The ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for leading the architectural design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across various modules. You will provide technical leadership, guidance, and best practices to project teams and clients, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and architectural standards. This role requires a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, its capabilities, and strategic roadmap, coupled with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural design and documentation of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical designs and implementation strategies.
  • Provide expert guidance and thought leadership on ServiceNow platform capabilities, roadmap, and emerging technologies.
  • Oversee the technical integrity and quality of implemented solutions, conducting design reviews and ensuring compliance with architectural standards.
  • Mentor and guide development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on ServiceNow strategy and implementation.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including solutioning, estimation, and presentation of proposed architectures.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new ServiceNow features and capabilities to bring value to clients.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Architect or a similar senior technical role.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules (e.g., ITSM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, GRC).
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, including scripting, integrations (REST, SOAP), data model, and security best practices.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL principles and their application within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and drive consensus on architectural decisions.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA) certification.
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, CIS-HRSD).
  • Experience working in a large-scale consulting or professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration capabilities.
  • Familiarity with SAFe or other scaled agile frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
