Job Description

Are you looking to kickstart your career in the automotive industry? Grand Motors Toowoomba is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team as a Driveway Attendant on a casual support basis. This is an entry-level position, and no prior experience is required as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a keen eye for detail, and a valid driver’s license to assist with vehicle movements and maintain the presentation of our showroom and display areas. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely move and park vehicles within the dealership premises, including the showroom, service drive, and storage areas.
  • Ensure vehicles on display are clean, tidy, and presentable for customers.
  • Assist with the delivery and collection of vehicles for service or sales.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the driveway and external display areas.
  • Assist customers with directions and basic inquiries as needed, directing them to the appropriate department.
  • Support the sales and service teams with various ad-hoc tasks as required.

Required Skills

  • Valid Australian C-class driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred but not essential, training can be provided).
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, 'can-do' attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of vehicle care and maintenance is a plus but not required.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, even in a different industry.
