Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Public Beaches Maintenance team. This role is perfect for early risers who enjoy working outdoors and contributing directly to the community. You will be responsible for ensuring our beaches are clean, tidy, and safe before the main crowds arrive, setting the standard for a pleasant visitor experience. Full training will be provided to all successful candidates, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity for those eager to start a career in public services and environmental care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily litter collection and waste removal from beach areas, boardwalks, and access points.
- Empty and sanitize public bins and waste receptacles.
- Report any hazards, damage, or maintenance issues to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with minor repairs to beach furniture, signage, and facilities.
- Ensure public restrooms and changing areas (if applicable) are clean and well-stocked.
- Operate basic cleaning equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Work effectively as part of a team to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
