Job Description

Kier Group is urgently seeking enthusiastic and physically capable individuals to join our team as an Entry Level Demolition Hand in Sale, Greater Manchester. No prior experience is necessary – we are committed to providing comprehensive training to ensure you gain the skills and knowledge required to succeed safely in this vital role. This is an immediate start opportunity for motivated individuals ready to contribute to significant projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced demolition personnel with site setup and preparation.
  • Learn and safely operate hand and power tools under supervision.
  • Carry out manual demolition tasks, including breaking down structures and clearing debris.
  • Adhere strictly to all site safety protocols, using personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout projects.
  • Support the team in loading and unloading materials and equipment.
  • Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
