Job Description
eBay Inc. is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented E-commerce Order Fraud Reviewer to join our dynamic team in San Jose, CA. In this vital office-based role, you will be instrumental in protecting our marketplace from fraudulent activities by carefully reviewing e-commerce transactions. Your sharp analytical skills and commitment to accuracy will help ensure the safety and integrity of our platform for millions of users worldwide. This position requires a keen eye for discrepancies, a strong understanding of fraud indicators, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Full training will be provided on our specific tools and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review e-commerce orders flagged by automated systems for potential fraud.
- Analyze transaction data, customer information, and order history to identify suspicious patterns.
- Utilize internal tools and external resources to verify order legitimacy.
- Make informed decisions to approve, cancel, or escalate orders based on established protocols.
- Document findings and actions clearly and concisely within the fraud review system.
- Collaborate with customer service, risk management, and payments teams as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging fraud trends and share insights with the team.
- Adhere to strict deadlines and productivity targets while maintaining high accuracy.
