Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compensation & Benefits / Rewards Manager to join our Human Resources team in Kettering. This pivotal role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our compensation and benefits programs to attract, motivate, and retain top talent. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping our total rewards strategy, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement competitive compensation strategies, including base pay, variable pay, and incentive plans.
  • Manage and administer all employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and leave policies.
  • Conduct thorough market research and salary benchmarking to ensure our rewards programs remain competitive.
  • Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with local, national, and international regulations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to HR business partners and management on compensation and benefits-related matters.
  • Lead annual compensation review processes and benefits enrolment periods.
  • Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver communications to employees regarding compensation and benefits programs.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, brokers, and consultants.
  • Support international mobility and relocation processes, particularly for sponsored employees.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Compensation & Benefits Manager or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Workday).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in a large, complex organization, preferably in retail or logistics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in Compensation (e.g., CCP, GRP) or Benefits (e.g., CEBS).
  • Experience with international compensation and benefits structures.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and HMRC regulations pertaining to compensation and benefits.
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
