Job Description
Pirie Ceramic Works is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as an Entry Level Tile Factory Hand. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a career in manufacturing with a reputable local company. You will learn various aspects of tile production, from raw material handling to quality control and packaging, contributing to the creation of high-quality ceramic products. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, eager to learn, and committed to working safely as part of a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and movement of raw materials and finished products within the factory.
- Operate basic factory machinery and equipment under supervision after receiving full training.
- Perform quality checks on tiles for defects, consistency, and adherence to production standards.
- Package finished tiles securely and accurately, preparing them for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all company and industry standards.
- Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and company policies diligently.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow.
- Support inventory management by assisting with stock counts and organization.
