Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Neonatal Intensive Care Nurses (NICU) to join our specialized team in Denton, TX. This is a unique opportunity for experienced international nurses looking to advance their careers in the United States. As a NICU Nurse, you will provide critical care to premature and critically ill newborns, working closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our fragile patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for neonates with complex medical conditions.
  • Administer medications, therapies, and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses.
  • Operate and monitor specialized equipment such as ventilators, incubators, and IV pumps.
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust care plans.
  • Educate and support families regarding their infant's condition, treatment, and care needs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Required Skills

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure in Texas.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a NICU nurse in an acute care setting.
  • Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
  • Proficiency in neonatal assessment, critical care interventions, and emergency response.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and family support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Previous experience with international sponsorship processes or willingness to undergo the process.
  • Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC).
