Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Metal Scrap Sorting Workers. In this essential industrial role, you will be responsible for the meticulous sorting and separation of various metal scrap materials. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided, and all necessary personal protective equipment, including gloves, will be supplied to ensure your safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities
- Sort and separate various types of metal scrap (ferrous, non-ferrous, mixed) according to established guidelines.
- Identify and remove contaminants from metal streams.
- Operate basic sorting equipment as needed (e.g., conveyor belts, magnetic separators).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the consistent use of provided PPE (gloves, safety glasses, etc.).
- Assist with the movement of sorted materials to designated storage areas.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in an industrial environment.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate material identification.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
