Job Description

The City of Katy Public Works Department is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Surveying Technician to join our Department of Lands team. Key Responsibilities

  • Record accurate field notes, measurements, and observations.
  • Clear brush and obstacles to establish clear lines of sight for surveying.
  • Help with data entry and basic drafting under supervision.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and departmental procedures.
  • Actively participate in training sessions and seek opportunities for continuous learning.
