Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort, categorize, and file medical records both physically and electronically.
- Ensure all patient information is handled with the utmost confidentiality and in compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Retrieve and deliver medical records promptly upon request from authorized personnel.
- Perform quality checks on filed documents to identify and correct any errors.
- Assist with scanning and indexing documents into the electronic health record system.
- Maintain an organized and tidy filing area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to record management.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding record status and issues.
