Job Description
Are you a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for technology? Takealot.com is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Intern to join our software testing team. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone looking to kickstart their career in software quality assurance. You will receive comprehensive training and mentorship, learning the fundamentals of software testing, defect identification, and quality processes within an agile development environment. No prior experience is required – just a strong desire to learn and contribute to delivering high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure software quality.
- Learn to document test cases, test results, and defect reports accurately.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Assist in the execution of various test types, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Provide clear and concise feedback on software functionality and user experience.
