Job Description

Comfort Keepers in St. Joseph, MI, is seeking dedicated Caregivers and Companions to join our growing team. This is an entry-level position perfect for those new to the caregiving field, as no prior certification or experience is required to start – we provide comprehensive paid training! We offer flexible hours, allowing you to create a schedule that fits your life while providing essential support and companionship to our beloved clients. Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and engage in stimulating activities (e.g., puzzles, conversation, walks).
- Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, tidying, and meal preparation.
- Help with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming (after training).
- Administer medication reminders.
- Assist with mobility and transfers (after training).
- Provide transportation for appointments, errands, and social outings.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or behavior to the care coordinator.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients.
Required Skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
