Job Description
We are offering an unparalleled opportunity for an Endodontic & Periodontic Shadowing Intern to gain direct, hands-on exposure to specialized dental fields. This internship is designed for aspiring dental professionals who are eager to observe and learn the intricate procedures and daily operations within endodontics and periodontics. This is a non-clinical, observational role, providing a foundational understanding of these critical specialties. No prior experience is required; we are looking for highly motivated individuals with a strong interest in dentistry.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe endodontic and periodontic procedures, including consultations, treatments, and post-operative care.
- Learn about patient intake processes, dental charting, and record-keeping specific to specialty practices.
- Familiarize oneself with dental instruments, equipment, and materials used in endodontic and periodontic treatments.
- Shadow dental specialists and assistants during patient appointments and practice management.
- Gain insight into diagnostic techniques, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all clinic policies and procedures.
- Participate in discussions with dental professionals to deepen understanding of cases and treatment methodologies.
- Assist with organizational tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the clinic.
