Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bankruptcy Law Office Assistant to join our Sydney team. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our bankruptcy practice, primarily focusing on accurate data entry, meticulous file management, and professional client contact. The successful candidate will support our legal professionals, ensuring all administrative tasks related to bankruptcy cases are handled efficiently and confidentially.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry into legal software and internal databases.
  • Organize and maintain both electronic and physical client files, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing general information.
  • Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports under supervision.
  • Assist lawyers and paralegals with case preparation, including document retrieval and compilation.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and email related to bankruptcy files.
  • Coordinate meetings and manage calendars for legal professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with all firm policies and legal regulations regarding data handling and client communication.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
