Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Return Package Opener. This is an easy-to-learn, entry-level warehouse position located in our Colorado Springs facility. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. Your primary role will involve carefully opening returned packages, verifying their contents against manifests, and ensuring items are ready for the next stage of our returns process. This is a crucial role that helps maintain the efficiency and accuracy of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and sort incoming returned packages
- Carefully open packages without damaging contents
- Verify package contents against accompanying documentation or digital records
- Identify and report any discrepancies or damaged items
- Sort contents into designated bins or areas based on type and condition
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 25 pounds
- Basic communication skills
- No prior experience necessary – full training provided
